Barren County Nursing and Rehab is utilizing our website to keep our residents, families, and staff updated on our current COVID-19 situation. We have made every effort to keep people informed with our weekly Zoom meetings on Thursday, going forward, we will utilize this website for all of our COVID-19 updates, and reporting of our positives for residents and staff. We will inform everyone by phone of any initial positives, but afterwards, this will be our official COVID reporting mechanism. Thanks again for all your support throughout this pandemic. We will get through this TOGETHER!
Currently we have ZERO Covid cases for staff or residents!
Update, as of 8/6/2020, Currently we have ZERO Covid cases for staff or residents!
Thanks to everyone for your support!!
Sorry I haven’t updated since the first of August, we’ve been very busy with all the testing that we’ve done. First, we are glad to report that as of 9/5/2020, we are still COVID free. I did want to update you on the testing. Last month, we tested our employees twice, based upon the recommendations of the state of Kentucky. The state of Kentucky recommended testing staff members every 2 weeks. Both of our tests resulted in no positive cases among our staff. We were very pleased with those results, and continue to work hard to provide a safe environment.
The last of August, the federal government, CMS to be exact, released new regulations which require us to test based upon our county’s positive rate, and so currently we are required to test twice a week. We were able to complete testing twice this week, and are scheduled to test twice a week again next week. We have the results from our first test, and they are all negative. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, and know that we are all making sacrifices during this unusual time. Thanks and stay Safe!
On 9/14/2020, we received confirmation from our lab that we had an employee positive. We are notifying everyone, as required, and working to complete testing on all of our residents today, and all of our staff tomorrow. We will post any changes in our current status here. Please check back for updates. Thanks.
We did receive news yesterday of 2 additional staff members, so currently we have 3 staff positives. We are re-testing all employees today. And all residents were tested yesterday. We will let you know how that all turns out when we get the results. It will probably be Thursday before we know the results on the residents, hopefully sooner.
9/16/2020 update. We received confirmation today of one positive resident. All other residents were negative. We will be retesting weekly. Residents on Monday and staff on Tuesday until further notice.
Update, 9/17/2020, our staff members tests returned today, and i’m happy to announce that all of the tests came back negative. So, the first followup to our tests, has all employees showing negative. Thank you to everyone for staying safe.
Update from 09/22/2020, we had some more good news to report. All staff negative from the Friday testing. We will start testing weekly this week, so I will let you know when we get everyone’s results back. We have tested residents Monday, 9/21 and staff members Tuesday, 9/22. I will post the resident results(not specifics due to HIPAA obviously) as soon as I have them all returned. According to the state of Kentucky and the guidance from CMS, we need to go 14 days without any new positives, and then we can start returning to our previous situation, with group activities, and communal dining, and also restart our visits. We are very hopeful that this may happen as early as Monday, Sept 28th(best case scenario). We will let everyone know when this occurs. Please keep praying for us, and know that we are working hard to keep everyone here safe!
Update 09/24/2020, wonderful news – All resident tests from Monday(9/21) were negative!!!!! So thankful. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. I appreciate all the words of support, and know that this is a very scary time right now. Our staff tests from this past Tuesday should be in today or tomorrow. If we can continue to remain negative, we will be releasing the COVID unit, and we will slowly start bringing back the group activities, the group dining, and also the visits that we were doing previously. email@example.com, you can send your questions or comments to that email, and you can always call the facility. With HIPAA, we are limited on what we can disclose, but we will always communicate with you on your family’s situation. You would be notified of any positive test results. Thanks and be safe!
Update, 09/25/2020, happy friday morning. Good news, we got the employee test back, and all negatives. We’re so happy for this news and continued moving forward with our plans to get back to where we were before this outbreak. But i’m so proud of the way that our staff has responded to this challenge. Keep praying and stay safe everyone!
Wonderful news today, our one positive patient is released from the COVID unit, and so we have a recovered COVID patient. HIPAA forbids us to share any specifics, but we did want everyone to know that we are releasing the patient from the unit today. We are also testing all residents today, and employees tomorrow. We are planning a Zoom meeting call for Thursday to discuss next steps and to update everyone on our progress. A staff member will be in touch with the information to call in or to video if you have that capability. Thanks again, and answered prayers, with one recovered COVID patient.
Update, 09/30/2020, all resident tests are back from Monday, and they are all negative!!! So thankful. Keep sending good thoughts our way!
10/01/2020, we were contacted today by the lab and notified of 2 staff members testing positive. The staff members were tested Tuesday, and they haven’t worked since Monday. We are very hopeful that we caught them early enough to prevent any further spread. As always, we are praying for continued resident negatives. So far, we haven’t had any severe cases with any of our employee positives. Please keep them in your prayers, and stay safe everyone! Remember, masks do save lives!!!!
Update on 10/5/2020, all residents tested today. Employee tests tomorrow. Everyone stay safe and keep praying for continued negatives! Thanks
Update on 10/07/2020, All residents tested negative on Monday!
Update on 10/9/2020, all staff tested negative this week. one step closer. Keep praying that we get another week of negatives!!!!!!
Update, 10/16/2020, first of all, i’m sorry for the delay in getting the information out to everyone, but i wanted to make sure that we had our tests back before we reported. Wonderful news – All negatives on residents, and all negatives on staff. Which means that we can start the process back again, with dining room, activities, and visits. I’m so happy to report this, and so thankful for all the prayers and support. We will not have to test residents unless they are symptomatic, and show signs, so that’s a blessing, and we will continue to test our staff weekly at this point. I will update on here if that changes. I’m so happy that our residents will again get to have some visitors. Activities will be scheduling the visits, so contact Amy or any of the activities staff to setup the visits. I’m sure that it may take a few weeks to get everything back on track, but hopefully we will continue to move forward and not have another positive test result for the foreseeable future. In the end, we will do whatever we have to do, to protect and keep our people safe during this unprecedented times.
Update 10/23/2020, we tested employees on Tuesday, and another good report. No positives this week for staff. Residents will only be tested if they show symptoms and the doctor gives us an order to test. We have started back with visits, inside on the beige hallway at the back, where the beige hall lounge was previously located. We have had a good first week back, please contact Amy Loyall in Activities to schedule the visits. We have also had activities out of the room and communal dining- dining room. Thanks so much. Please stay safe, our community is really struggling with COVID right now. Several facilities have had outbreaks so keep them in your prayers! Take care and be safe everyone.
As of 10/29/2020, we tested all of our employees on Tuesday. We have received confirmation of one positive employee. Due to the positive employee, we tested all the residents today, We should have the results in a day or two. I will post when we have the results. We are seeing a tremendous amount of COVID activity in the area right now. Barren and surrounding counties are having a lot of positives. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. We test all employees again tomorrow. Due to the community positivity rate, we are testing twice a week for employees. And we will test residents again next week too.
As of 10/30/2020, we did get one additional staff member. So, we have 2 staff members who are being quarantined and off work. We did test all residents thursday and all staff on friday. I am very hopeful that I can post later today the resident results. The employee results from friday may not all be in until Monday. I will post those results Monday when we get them all back. Thanks everyone for your support and understanding during this difficult time! Be safe.
As of 10/31/2020, Happy Halloween!!! Good news, all residents tests from Thursday are negative! So glad to report to everyone! Please keep us in your prayers but also the other facilities in Glasgow need our prayers. I wish that i could guarantee that we won’t experience this at some point, but I have to be realistic and there are no guarantees with this pandemic. We have really been blessed and i want to thank our heroes for what they have done. We continue to work hard to protect our residents and keep everyone safe. Have a safe weekend, and please keep sending your good thoughts our way!
Update, 11/2/2020, we received all of our results from the employee testing on friday. We had only one staff member who tested positive, all others were negative. That staff member is on quarantine, and we contacted the local health department and reported the positive test to them. We are testing all residents and staff on Tuesday, 11/3. I will post the results of those tests on this page. Don’t forget that we have video visits, through facetime, or other computer devices, just call if you want to set something up for your family member, or loved one. Thanks.
Update, 11/5/2020, we finally got back all of our reports, and so here’s the results: 1 positive resident, 4 positive staff members. We currently have 6 staff members, and 6 have recovered since the very start of COVID. We are testing all staff members tomorrow, Friday, which is the twice a week protocol because of our county being in the red, critical area. And the residents will be testing the first of next week, on monday or tuesday. They will continue to be tested Weekly going forward until we have 14 days without any other positives. We also are continuing to do the assessments daily on the residents, with vital signs and checking for symptoms. Thanks everyone for all your support and please pray for our continued safety!
As of 11/9/2020, i am very happy to report that our Friday tests for all the staff were negative. That was a huge relief to us, and we are so thankful. Tuesday, 11/ 10/2020 will be both residents and staff. We will test everyone, and i will post the results on this page as soon as i can get them all back. I appreciate everyone’s cooperation during this time, and can’t say enough about how our staff has responded. Please keep our one positive resident in your prayers! I pray that we don’t have any more this week, and that we can keep working to return back to the time when we were allowed people to visit. Our community rate of positivity will have a lot to do with how things move forward, so please encourage everyone to wear a mask and do the right thing! Take care and be safe!
As of 11/12/2020, our Tuesday tests results are back. We had 1 (one) positive resident and 1 (one) positive employee. We certainly want to pray for those who have tested positive, and for the families of those who are dealing with this right now. And we have several staff that are dealing with it now, and a few who have recovered and returned to us. For some reason, it is affecting people differently, and we don’t really know why. But i continue to be proud of all of our healthcare workers, especially our barren co family. We are fighting everyday, and we will keep fighting as long as it takes. Thanks for your support!
Here is our update, through 11/16/2020 on test results. We tested our employees on Friday, and we had only one positive, out of nearly 100 tests. The staff member had been quarantined since last Wednesday, so it was really just confirmation, but a positive nonetheless. We are testing all residents and all staff today, 11/17/2020. We hope to have those results by no later than Friday, but hopefully Thursday. Please keep all of our residents and staff in your prayers. We covet all your prayers right now. We also want to keep our thoughts and prayers with our residents/patients who are positive, but also all of the positives and pray that their symptoms will be mild.
Update on 11/19/2020, great news to report. All negatives from our tests on Tuesday!! Both residents and staff! So thankful and so happy to report! Keep the prayers coming, they are working! Everyone stay safe!
Update from 11/20/2020 testing, all employees were negative! Another good report! Keep thinking good thoughts and we will get through this, together!
11/24/2020, We are testing all residents and all staff today! Please, please pray for our results and remember us during your thanksgiving holiday. Stay safe and encourage people to do the right thing, for our residents and staff, please wear masks and take proper precautions.
Remember, we are making progress towards having 14 days without any positives, and then we can restart the visitations again. That’s the first step. We also have to look at the community spread, and community positivity rate. So, if we stay in the red, we may have to look at other options until our community rate drops. This is why the actions of others, has such an impact on our residents and patients here at the facility. Thanks so much for your support, and remember you can always call or email us with questions.
As of 11/27/2020, we have 4 residents positive, and 2 additional staff members. I’m sorry to report. Wish we had better news for everyone. Please keep us in your prayers. We will get through this, our team has really done an amazing job. I couldn’t be more proud of our staff and our team! Call or email with questions, but we are limited on what we can discuss because of HIPAA. Please know we are working tirelessly to keep everyone safe.
As of 11/28/2020, we have one additional positive staff member tested positive. We have 3 current staff members positive at this time.
Update, 12/3/2020, we have 3 additional positive residents. And one additional staff member to report. so our current totals are 7 residents, active, 3 residents recovered. 4 staff members. We are cohorting residents, which just means that we’re trying to keep all the people in isolation together, and also the covid unit is being activated, and we have plastic up to separate the covid unit from the rest of the hallway with the people in precautions. Keep thinking of us, and keep us in your prayers. Thank you!
Update, 12/5/2020, one additional resident is positive. 8 residents total. 4 staff members. The employee tests from Tuesday were all negative. Call or email with questions, please let us know if you have any questions. We are starting to get information about the vaccine, as i’m sure that a lot of you are seeing information in the news. We will be contacting everyone shortly with consent forms for the vaccine, similar to when we get the flu vaccines signed. When we know more, we will let everyone know. Thanks.
Good news to report, Friday’s staff tests were all negative. Sorry i wasn’t able to report it earlier, but all of the staff that tested on Friday were negative. That is great news for us. We currently have only one(1) staff member positive, and we are up to 16 recovered. We are very hopeful that 4 residents will be released and recovered tomorrow. Which will bring us down to 4 residents still in our covid unit. We are watching everyone closely, and are very thankful for our physicians and their oversight for our residents. Keep the faith, and keep praying for us. We will get through this, we will get through this together!
Great News! All residents and staff tests from Tuesday, 12/8 are negative!!!! We’re very cautiously optimistic, for these results, and are hoping that next week we can duplicate these results. We test all staff on Friday. If we can have another week of all negatives, then we will be very fortunate. The most important thing is that any of our residents who are positive, recover and are able to see their families again. Our prayers are with these positive residents right now. I’ll post information about the vaccine next week. We will be having a call next Thursday to discuss the plan for vaccination.
All staff tests from Friday were Negative!
Vaccination Update – Here are the tentative dates for the Vaccination Clinics at our facility – Walgreens sent these to me yesterday.
Clinic 1 – Tuesday, January 5, 2021
Clinic 2 – Tuesday, January 26, 2021
Clinic 3 – Tuesday, February 16, 2021
As I explained on the call, the first dose will be given at Clinic 1 and second dose at Clinic 2. If we have new admissions or people decide to take the vaccination after the 1st clinic, then if Clinic 2 is your first dose, the the second dose would be Clinic 3.
I’m very excited about us getting the vaccines so quickly, and for the hope that we can turn the page on this horrible pandemic and look forward to a brighter tomorrow. Thanks!
Good news to report, and Merry Christmas! We had all negative tests for the Tuesday tests, and we also had all negatives for our tests on Thursday! So, thankfully Christmas week has been a very good one for us in the COVID area. Please continue to pray for our continued safety, and that we will have great participation with the vaccine starting at the first of the year! Let us know if you have any questions, and i hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season.
Update, 12/30/2020, we tested our staff on Tuesday, and we received word that one, PRN staff member tested positive today. Although the staff member hasn’t worked for 8 days, the guidance says we have to test all the residents and also stop with the activities and dining rooms. It’s very frustrating but unfortunately, it is what we have to do. We will be testing all the residents tomorrow, along with the staff. Also, we will have to temporarily stop the in person visits. The tests tomorrow will be the rapid, point of care tests, so we will have the results by the end of the day tomorrow. Again, we hope that we have good news to report tomorrow. I’ll update you at the end of the day. What a way to end 2020! Well, it figures!! Take care and be safe everyone.
All negative on the resident tests today! Wonderful news, and Happy New Year! Hope everyone has a safe and happy New Years Day tomorrow!
I’ll post the staff results at the end of the day in a different post. Thanks.
All staff were negative today as well. Great news and a great way to end the year! Happy New Year!
We had a staff member test positive, after they had called in for work and had some mild symptoms, they were rapid tested, and it was positive. So, at the moment, we have 2 active employee cases. Remember, we have the vaccine clinic on Tuesday, Jan. 5th. So just a few more days! Here’s to hoping that 2021 will be a much better year for everyone!
Yesterday, during our surveillance testing, we had one positive resident. We also had two staff members test positive. We were able to get the 1st vaccine clinic completed, and 70 residents, or about 85% of our residents received the 1st dose of the vaccine. We had 33 staff members get the vaccine yesterday, so hopefully more will be willing to take the vaccine during the 2nd clinic. Please keep us in your prayers as we start the new year, and we hope that our doors will be open in the very near future. Be safe!
We have had some additional positive staff members during our testing today! We will be testing our residents again on Tuesday of next week. I’ll keep everyone updated. thanks.
We had a positive resident, which now puts us at two positive residents. And we ended up with five staff members. So, we have 9 staff and 2 residents currently. As we’ve seen before, the holidays have not been kind to the spread of the COVID virus, and unfortunately, we are seeing that hold true here at the start of the new year. I’m hopeful that the ones that received the vaccine will see an immediate response to it, but most studies say it isn’t until the 2nd dose that you see about a 95% effective percentage. Prayers everyeone!
Yesterday we had a positive resident, so we tested all residents this morning, ahead of our Tuesday testing, and found that we had three additional positives. We have opened the covid unit at our facility, and are planning to continue with our testing of all staff tomorrow, and then we will re-test all residents again this week. Just to make sure they are no other positives. Our staff will test on Tuesday and Friday this week. I’ll let you know the results. Stay Strong! Be safe! And get vaccinated if you can!
We completed our staff testing yesterday and ended up having 3 three positive employees. We will keep you updated on any new resident or staff positives. Thanks!
Update 1/15/2021, Yesterday we had 16 residents test positive. It was a very difficult day for all of us. A lot of moving around to get people on the covid unit, and also to put others on the observation hallway. It took a lot of teamwork to accomplish this, and I’m very proud of the way our team pulled together. We have contacted the families of the positive patients. We test all employees today, so I will post those results tomorrow. Thank you for your prayers and please continue to stay safe and if you have the chance to take the vaccine, I am encouraging everyone to get vaccinated. Thanks!
Saturday, 1/16/2021, our employee tests resulted in 6 additional positives. Our totals for staff is now 18 currently active cases, with several staff being released in the next few days. We also had 3 additional resident positives, which brings our total residents up to 25 cases. We can definitely use prayers right now. Our staff has been tremendous! We are very happy to say that our pharmacy has made available an antibody IV therapy treatment which has shown good results. There are certain requirements which must be met, and we are contacting those that qualify for this therapy.
Sunday update, we had one resident positive yesterday, and five more positives today. We are currently at 31 positive residents. Prayers! Our staff are performing like true heroes! I am very proud of them, and know that we will get through this difficult time! Thank you for your support during this unbelievably pandemic!
Monday update, we had 23 additional resident positives. We currently have 54 resident positives. We also had four additional staff members test positive today. We test our remaining staff members who are not positive tomorrow. I will post the results of our tests tomorrow from staff. We do have a prayer circle setup for Thursday at 2 pm. I will try and post more details about the prayer circle tomorrow. If you wish to participate in our prayer circle at the facility, you can reach out to Karen Sherfey at the facility. We will socially distance outside the facility and would love to have enough people to circle the entire facility with prayer warriors. Please pass on the word, and let your churches know if they want to participate in the event, we would love to have them. Thanks.
Yesterday we had 11 staff members test positive. We had 2 additional residents test positive. Please be thinking of us tomorrow at 2 pm. We hope that anyone who is available can make it to the prayer circle tomorrow. Everyone stay safe!
Friday update, 1/22, four staff members tested positive today. We will be having our 2nd vaccine clinic on Tuesday. We will be contacting people over the weekend to receive consents for the 2nd vaccine. Anyone who is currently positive, and not out of quarantine will not be able to receive the 2nd dose until the 3rd clinic, on Feb. 16. Some residents may opt to take the 2nd vaccine while others may not, it is totally up to the resident and families on whether they take the 2nd vaccine. IT will not impact the vaccine by waiting until the 3rd clinic on Feb. 16th, if you already had the first dose on Jan. 5th. Please call or email if you have any questions. Also visit the CDC to get the most up to date information. Thanks for all the prayers from everyone.
Just a reminder that we will be having our 2nd Vaccination Clinic Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 26, 2021. Thanks!
Update, 1/26 – We had our staff testing today, only 2 positive staff members. All the rest were negative! We also had about 20 vaccinations given to residents and 15 vaccinations given to staff members. The third and last vaccine clinic will be Feb. 16th. And those residents and staff who have recovered from COVID, can take the 2nd dose of the vaccine on Feb. 16th without any problem. The minimum timeframe is 3 weeks from the first dose, but waiting until Feb. 16th for the second dose is perfectly fine. This was verified with the Walgreens staff, who are administering the vaccine for us. If you have any questions about the vaccine, please feel free to call us at the facility. We appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers these last few weeks, and we are very encouraged by our progress the last few days. We will make it through this, together! Take care and be safe!
Update, 1/28 – 4 new resident positives for the testing today. We are only testing those residents who have been negative, so we have very few residents left to test each week. But we are hoping by early next week, the majority of the residents will be able to be released from precautions. Thanks and have a great day!
Update from 1/29/2021, we had no negatives when we tested staff on Friday. 42 negatives, the other staff have either tested positive, and recovered or are currently active cases. Thanks.
Update Tuesday, we have tested the remainder of the residents who have either recovered or never tested positive, that amounts to 10 residents. We tested 36 staff members, again, either recovered or never positive. The results will be back in a day or two. We have started doing the PCR tests again, through the state of Kentucky, they have restarted the program, when they received additional federal funding for the program. As a result, every other week, we will perform a PCR test, and then do the rapid tests in between.
We are so happy to announce that our COVID plastic barriers have come down today, and that only one hallway, orange hall, has a few positive residents and that’s the only ones at this time. All others have recovered, and we are hoping that this success continues over the next week, and we can report that everyone has been able to be cleared out of the quarantine/restrictions.
We have one staff member that is having a difficult time, and we are asking everyone to pray for them! Please pray that they will be healed!
We have gotten all but one result back from Tuesday, all the others are negative. I will let you know about that particular one either later today or tomorrow at the latest. We have 46 negative results. Hopefully, we can continue to have negatives, so that we can move to the next phase of opening up activities, and dining and the visits too. I know that many of you are questioning the vaccine, but I would encourage everyone to get their 2nd shot. Especially if you had the 1st dose, you can get the second dose on February 16th. Ultimately everyone has to decide what is best for them, but with all the questions about immunity and how long the antibodies will last, I think our best chance at a return to pre-COVID days is to take the vaccine. Everyone take care and stay safe!
2/5/2021 Update, all the staff that were tested on Friday, tested Negative.
2/9/2021, Update, we had no positive residents from the individuals tested today, and one positive employee. That’s the only positive to report. We will test employees again Friday. Thanks!
2/12/2021 Update, All staff tests were negative today. Thanks
2/16/2021: Vaccine Clinic has been canceled today because of the weather conditions, the roads are still pretty bad, so Walgreens will contact us with a new Vaccine date, and we will let everyone know when the date is scheduled.
2/17/2021 – Yesterday, we tested residents and staff, with all people being negative. So, we also found out that Walgreens will be having the vaccine clinic on Friday, February 19, 2021. So, all of those people who elected to get the 2nd vaccination shot, will receive the 2nd dose on Friday. I will also update you on the staff testing Friday as well. Thanks.
02 19 2021 – Update for Friday, all staff tests were negative today! Great news! If we have all negatives on Tuesday, we will begin with restarting our activities and communal dining, and also the visits with residents will restart! We are so excited to almost be back to visits! Also, we had our 3rd Vaccine clinic today and several residents and staff were able to get their 2nd dose of the vaccine today. As the numbers start trending in a positive direction, we hope that we will see more positive news in the next few weeks about the next steps towards reopening our facility. Keep us in your prayers, and hopefully we will get back to pre-COVID conditions very soon. Thank you!
Wonderful news! As of 2/25/2021, We got all our results back from Tuesday and all negatives! We are going to be opening back up the activities and communal dining. Hopefully we can take baby steps towards returning to our pre-COVID situation. Thanks
updated 3/3/2021, tuesday’s testings resulted in all negatives! Wonderful news! We continue our reopening, slowly and safely, but we’ve had great participation with visits, and remember, you can contact Amy Loyall, Activities Director. If you leave a message, remember, she’s doing visits, and also activities for all the residents during the day, so she will call you back when she gets done with our daily work. We also are working with the state on having a vaccine program that will be available for all new admits, so that those that are admitted will have the option to get vaccinated. Kentucky has decided to go with the one shot Johnson and Johnson vaccine for use in long term care with those new admits. We will send out more information when we get it. Thanks.
Update 3/5/2021, staff tests were all negative. Good news, our county has dropped to where we will only have to test once a week starting next week.
Visits continue, call Amy Loyall to schedule visits, you can have visits at the end of Beige Hallway. These scheduled visits happen 7 days a week, call and setup an appointment with Amy Loyall in Activities. If you leave a message, she will return your call at the end of the day. Thank You!
Update from testing on Tuesday, 3/9/2021, we had no positives. So, our staff testing went well. We have finally reached weekly testing, so that’s the only testing for this week. I hope to have some positive news to report in the next day or two about our continued reopening. Thanks and everyone please stay safe! Please email or call with questions.
Important Notice: Starting Monday, we will be taking steps to comply with the CMS and KY State guidance on opening up visitation in LTC facilities. Although, some people may misinterpret this news as a return to normal, the same safeguards that have been in place for months, will continue to be in place and practiced at our facility. We will continue to do screenings, and temperature checks, and mask and social distancing and so on, and the visits at the end of beige hallway will continue during the day. We will expand and have additional opportunities for visits outside on the back porch(weather permitting), along with inside, scheduled visits at the end of beige hallway. And in some cases, there may be the opportunity to visit in rooms for patients, and those who are in need of a compassionate care visits. Compassionate care visits include End of life, or those having adjustment problems, or if the residents condition warrants the need to have contact with a family member, these will continue to be on a case by case basis. We are planning on having a Zoom call this Thursday, more details to come, and we will post the information here on the Zoom call to discuss this further and answer any questions.
